May Traffic Report

Kim Nowack, Bridge Director of the MBA, reported today that 373,484 vehicles crossed the Mackinac Bridge during the month of May compared to 374,111 in 2025.
For the month of May, traffic was down 0.2% and toll revenue was down 3.3% compared to last year.

Mackinac Bridge Walk preparations under way for 2026

Fast facts:

Participants in the 2026 Mackinac Bridge Walk can start from either St. Ignace or Mackinaw City.
The bridge walk will begin from Bridge View Park on the west side of I-75 on the St. Ignace end, and from the Jamet Street ramp on the east side of I-75 in Mackinaw City.
