Thursday’s Mackinac Bridge Authority meeting to be broadcast on LiveStream
The Nov. 8 regular meeting of the Mackinac Bridge Authority (MBA) in St. Ignace will be broadcast via LiveStream for those unable to attend in person.
The agenda includes updates on the 2018 Annual Bridge Walk and the bridge tower painting projects, as well as a public information session by representatives from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) on a planned utility tunnel beneath the Straits of Mackinac.
The MBA is being asked to own and oversee the proposed tunnel. MBA members will not be deliberating on the merits of the project and there will be no vote Thursday.
The meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. at the Little Bear East Arena in St. Ignace. The meeting will be available to view on the Michigan Department of Transportation’s LiveStream channel at https://livestream.com/MDOT/MBAmeeting110818.
