March Traffic Report

Robert J. Sweeney, Executive Secretary of the Mackinac Bridge Authority, reported today that 245,833 vehicles crossed the Mackinac Bridge during the month of March. This represents a 2.4 percent increase when compared to the 240,155 crossings during March 2004.

Traffic for 2005 is 1.1 percent ahead of last year's pace; 692,664 vehicles versus 685,294 in 2004.
