October Traffic Report

Robert J. Sweeney, Executive Secretary of the Mackinac Bridge Authority, reported today that 399,089 vehicles crossed the Mackinac Bridge during the month of October. This represents a 3.6 percent decrease when compared to the 414,199 crossings during October 2003.

Traffic for the first ten months of 2004 is running 2.0 percent behind last year's pace; 3,879,807 vehicles versus 3,960,494 in 2003.
