TRAFFIC DELAYS

Bridge repainting project

Complete paint removal and reapplication of primer and surface paint.

Ongoing all season.

Area lane closures Monday through Friday. Some overnight closures. Weekend lane closures as traffic levels permit.

Bridge deck resurfacing

Mill off old bituminous and replace.

Fall.

Traffic switch with two way traffic. Possible delays northbound on Fridays and southbound on Sundays.

Spot painting program

Sandblast, prime, and repaint damaged paint surfaces on the bridge.

Ongoing all season.

Daytime lane closures Monday through Friday. Weekend lane closures as traffic levels permit.

Deck grating replacement

Replace worn and damaged sections of open deck grating as needed.

Spring and Fall.

Daytime lane closures Monday through Friday. Some overnight closures.

Beam repairs

Repair or replace damaged beams under the bridge roadway.

Ongoing all season.

Daytime lane closures Monday through Friday.

joint replacements and joint repairs

Repair, clean, reseal, etc. the various joints on the bridge.

Ongoing all season.

Daytime lane closures Monday through Friday. Overnight lane closures for larger joint repairs.

Concrete pier repair

Repair concrete, and apply waterproofing sealant to concrete piers and other concrete surfaces.

Ongoing all season.

Daytime lane closures Monday through Friday. Weekend lane closures as traffic levels permit.
